I really don't know what your Great Park is,
I really don't know why I'm writing this,
because you don't know anything about me,
and so you could be floating above all those tall trees.

I see on the canvas, your brush drawing
the border between some ancient realm
and the gateway to a vast half-built dream
where I really don't know if I would be.

I've often heard: “don't go into the woods,
no one searches for those who go into the wood”
but I really don't know what your Great Park is,
and I don't know what lies behind all those trees.

So last night I crossed the land of the wind,
where each of your brushstrokes turns grey to green,
and guns spit dreams of old violins,
but I really don't know how I got there.

And now my head is swarming,
with the noise of those rare birds,
your voice keeps repeating:
'we got lost, and we were never found'

Now I don´t know how to get out of here,
“there may be no way back to the old shelters”,
I really don't know if I could stay there,
so 'let's get away from the old frontiers'.
